Services
Each engagement begins with a diagnosis. The Rural Impact Assessment identifies your primary constraint, and each service offering is designed to address a specific, identifiable gap. No standard packages. No work that does not match what your organization actually needs.
How Engagements Work
We operate on fixed-fee project engagements and monthly retainer relationships. There are no contingency fees, no referral arrangements, and no success-based compensation. All fees are transparent, agreed upon before work begins, and tied to time and expertise.
All non-retainer engagements require confirmed payment before work begins. Retainer clients are set up on monthly autopay. No work begins on an unpaid engagement.
We do not take emergency applications. The client must deliver all required project data no fewer than 21 days prior to any grant or submission deadline.
Funding and Compliance
For organizations whose primary constraint is funding architecture, funder intelligence, or compliance exposure.
Funding Intelligence Assessment
Starting at $5,000 · 8-week engagement
A structured 8-week cycle that produces everything an organization needs to pursue federal and foundation funding strategically. Deliverables include a complete funder database of 30 or more tiered prospects, seven modular narrative files, and a 90-minute strategy handoff with an organized digital vault.
This is not grant writing; it is the infrastructure that makes grant writing systematic and repeatable.
Special Project Sprint
Variable · Scoped at engagement initiation
Targeted work on a specific grant application, compliance deliverable, or regulatory submission. Common types include federal rural education programs, nonprofit capacity grants, infrastructure funding, and faith-based community program applications. Multi-phase engagements use milestone-based invoicing.
Pre-Submission Documentation Review
$4,000 · 100% upfront
A targeted pre-certification engagement for organizations preparing to submit a cybersecurity or information security certification application. We review your documentation against published certification standards and produce a written findings report with a prioritized gap-remediation checklist. The goal is to identify weaknesses before formal submission and maximize the probability of passing on the first attempt.
Target clients include manufacturers or technology firms entering the defense contracting supply chain, IT service providers qualifying for government contracts, and organizations referred by IT consulting partners.
Organizational Strategy
For organizations whose primary constraint is strategic clarity: where the plan is absent, stalled, or disconnected from funding reality and organizational capacity.
Strategic Clarity Sprint
$6,000 · 30-day engagement · 100% upfront
A bridge engagement for organizations that identify strategic clarity as the primary constraint but are not ready to commit to a full Strategic Navigator engagement. Produces the Strategic Path Options Brief: two to three realistic, fundable, and survivable strategic paths filtered from the full range of organizational possibilities.
Strategic Navigator
$15,000–$30,000 · Three-phase billing
A full strategic planning engagement built for rural organizations with lean teams and real resource constraints. Addresses the five reasons most rural strategic plans fail: designed for organizations with dedicated strategy staff; more initiatives than capacity can execute; disconnected from funding realities; do not survive leadership transitions; no accountability mechanisms.
Three stages, Discovery and Foundation, Strategic Narrowing, and Decision and Dashboard, produce a final strategic direction statement, operational dashboard, and implementation framework, followed by six months of coaching and accountability support.
Five pilot slots are available at $15,000, a 50% reduction for organizations willing to participate in the case study and feedback process.
